Next Gen of Cultural Economy

Participation in organization of two events as part of the official program of the MONDIACULT Conference, one in Barcelona and the other in Paraćin.

This side event The Next Gen Economy of Culture: Creativity Driven by Purpose and Fairnessis organizes as a pre-conferencial official side event of UNESCO MONDIACULT 2025. aims to explore innovative approaches to shaping a cultural economy that is inclusive, ethical, and sustainable. It will highlight how next-generation policies and partnerships can redefine values in the creative sector by aligning artistic expression with fairness, sustainability, and economic resilience. The session will examine approaches for fair remuneration, ethical funding models and responsible finance, and supportive policy frameworks that foster the fair and sustainable development of the cultural economy. Special focus will be placed on empowering marginalized artists’ voices, ensuring decent work in the cultural sector, and leveraging innovative financing tools to unlock the full potential of cultural and creative industries.

Edin Jašarović, dean, Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Cetinje, Ardjana Shehi Kalo – Practicing Lawyer in Albania & Executive Director of Fondacioni Kalo Art (Albania) and prof. dr. Aleksandrija Ajduković, multimedia artists, Faculty of Media and Communication (Serbia).
